Redevelopment Commission Meeting <br />IL Regular Meeting — June 18, 2004 <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Mr. Hunt asked about the claim from Ziolkowski <br />Construction for $195,283.84. Mr. Rock responded that <br />it was for renovation of the retail space in the Palais for <br />The Vine restaurant. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by Mr. Kahn and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission approved the <br />Claims submitted June 18, 2004, and ordered checks to <br />be released <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Public Hearing <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2059 <br />amending the South Side Development <br />Area Development Plan <br />Mr. Schalliol explained that Resolution <br />No. 2059 adds the property at 4201 S. Main <br />Street to the SSDA Development Plan <br />acquisition list. <br />Mr. Rock asked that the following items be <br />entered into the record: (1) a copy of <br />Resolution No. 2059; (2) a copy of the Notice <br />of Hearing; (3) affidavits from the South Bend <br />Tribune and Tri- County News that the Notice <br />of Hearing was published in those newspapers <br />on June 4, 2004; (4) a statement from Bill <br />Schalliol that he mailed the Notice of Hearing <br />C <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />SUBMITTED JUNE 18, 2004, AND ORDERED THE <br />CHECKS TO BE RELEASED <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS. <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />
