Airport Economic Development Area <br />(1) Staff report on acquisition of property in <br />the Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Lot 2, Ameriplex Minor Subdivision) <br />Mr. Rock noted that on September 5, 2002 <br />the Commission approved Resolution No. <br />1998 setting the offering price for Lot 2 in <br />the Ameriplex Minor Subdivision at <br />$109,500. The owner countered with an <br />offer of $124,400 plus closing costs, taxes, <br />and title. The staff countered with a <br />$110,000 offer. The owner accepted the <br />counter offer with the City paying closing <br />costs, brokerage fees, taxes and title <br />estimated at $8,000 to $10,000.
