Redevelopment Commission Meeting <br />Regular Meeting — July 16, 2004 <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Public Hearing <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2063 <br />amending the West Washington- Chapin <br />Development Area Development Plan. <br />Mr. Rock explained that Resolution <br />No. 2063 adds seven properties to the <br />acquisition list for the West Washington - <br />Chapin Development Area Development <br />Plan. The properties contain two old <br />industrial buildings. One is an old machine <br />shop which we will relocate to another <br />portion of the city. The other is unused. <br />Both property owners are willing sellers. <br />Ms. Greene noted that an amendment by <br />the Commission to the Development Plan <br />is covered by I.C. 36 -7 -14 -17.5. <br />Mr. Rock asked that the following items be <br />entered into the record: (1) a copy of the <br />Notice of Hearing; (2) copies of affidavits <br />from the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- <br />County News that the Notice of Hearing <br />was published in those newspapers on <br />July 2, 2004; (3) a memo from staff stating <br />that affected property owners and interested <br />neighborhood associations were notified; <br />and (4) there were no remonstrances <br />received as of 10:00 a.m. <br />C3 <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS. <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />
