Redevelopment Commission Meeting <br />Regular Meeting — August 20, 2004 <br />St. Joseph County Jail, State Theater, <br />Stephenson Mill Apartments, STIF, <br />Studebaker Museum, Studebaker /Oliver <br />Redevelopment Strategy, Studebaker <br />Corridor - Transwestern, Avanti, Standard <br />Surplus, Studebaker Parts, Teacher Credit <br />Union, Tech Data, TIF, Tire Rack, TJX <br />Distribution Center, Urban Enterprise <br />Zone /Urban Enterprise Association, West <br />Washington Chapin Revitalization, West <br />Washington Homes, YWCA. <br />WHEREAS, Jon loved the challenge of `hot <br />a simple project "and finding a `5vin /win " <br />outcome whenever possible nearly as much <br />as he loved baseball (the Cubs) and lawyer <br />jokes and the music that filled his office; and <br />WHEREAS, Jon dedicated himself to <br />making South Bend a better place to live and <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED <br />by the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission that: <br />1. The Commission hereby publicly <br />commemorates the late Jon R. Hunt for his <br />many contributions and services to the City <br />of South Bend. <br />2. The Commission hereby endorses and <br />supports the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Authority 's determination to rename and <br />rededicate the Morris Civic Plaza as the `Jon <br />R. Hunt Plaza "in honor of Jon and in tribute <br />to his memory and his many valuable <br />contributions to community. <br />3. This Resolution shall be in full force <br />and effect upon its adoption. <br />20 <br />
