Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(5) continued... <br />will look very nice. <br />Ms. Greene noted that the public sale of <br />property is governed by I.C. 36- 7- 14 -22. <br />This property has previously been through <br />the bid process. At that time there were no <br />successful bidders. More than thirty days <br />have passed since the property was offered. <br />By statute the Commission may then <br />negotiate to sell the property. The <br />Commission may dispose of the property if it <br />feels the proposal is in a manner to further its <br />development plan for the area. <br />Staff recommends approving the proposal <br />from Studebaker Partners conditioned on <br />receipt of acceptable plans to be presented to <br />the Commission. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the proposal from <br />Studebaker Partners conditioned on receipt of <br />acceptable plans to be presented to the <br />Commission. <br />(4) Staff report on disposition of property in <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />(Request for extension of time, Habitat for <br />Humanity, East Sample Street) <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that Habitat for <br />Humanity is interested in submitting a <br />proposal for a site on East Sample Street <br />between Fellows and Carroll Streets. The <br />Commission previously granted Habitat a 90- <br />19 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />STUDEBAKER PARTNERS CONDITIONED ON <br />RECEIPT OF ACCEPTABLE PLANS TO BE <br />PRESENTED TO THE COMMISSION. <br />
