Redevelopment Commission Meeting <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting — October 22, 2004 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />A. Public Hearings <br />(3) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2091 <br />amending the Airport Economic <br />Development Area Development Plan. <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that Resolution No. 2091 <br />adds one property to the Acquisition List of <br />the Airport Economic Development Area <br />Development Plan. That property is Key <br />No. 25- 1009 - 0152.05 located at 5965 Brick <br />Road. The property contains a single family <br />home. The owners are eager to sell their <br />property to the City. <br />Ms. Greene noted that Resolution No. 2091 <br />is comparable to the action the Commission <br />just took on Resolution No. 2090 and <br />imposes the same legal requirements set forth <br />at IC 36 -7 -14 -17.5. The requisite findings are <br />incorporated into Resolution No. 2091 and, if <br />the Commission adopts Resolution No. 2091 <br />as presented, it would fulfill the legal <br />requirements. <br />Mr. Inks noted that the Public Hearing file <br />reveals that it contains the following items: <br />(1) A copy of the Notice of Hearing; (2) A <br />copy of Resolution No. 2091; (3) An <br />affidavit from Carol Smith, Advertising <br />Director of the South Bend Tribune, that the <br />Notice of Hearing was published in that <br />newspaper on October 8, 2004; (5) An <br />affidavit from Richard Andrysiak, Classified <br />Manager of the Tri- County News, that the <br />Notice of Hearing was published in that <br />newspaper on October 8, 2004; (6) A <br />statement from Bill Schalliol that affected <br />property owners and registered neighborhood <br />associations were notified of the Public <br />3 <br />
