South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved a request for Bid <br />Specifications & Design Considerations for <br />property located in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area (237 North Michigan <br />Street (former Hotel LaSalle & adjacent <br />parking area) <br />(2) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2123 approving the fair <br />market value of property in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area <br />(237 North Michigan Street (former Hotel <br />LaSalle & adjacent parking area) <br />Mr. Mathia reported that Resolution <br />No. 2123 sets the fair market value for the <br />property commonly referred to as the former <br />Hotel LaSalle located at 237 North Michigan <br />Street and the adjacent parking area. The <br />property is located on the southwest corner of <br />Michigan and LaSalle Streets and it is within <br />the South Bend Central Development Area. <br />The area of the property is approximately <br />0.75 acres. The fair market value has been <br />determined by the average of two written <br />appraisals prepared by independent, qualified <br />real estate appraisers.
