South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting — May 6, 2005 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />E. Airport Economic Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />Mr. Williams reported that a proposal was <br />requested from Meridian Title Corporation to <br />perform title searches /updates for seven <br />contiguous parcels in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area for possible disposition. <br />Meridian has agreed to perform the title work <br />for $100 per parcel or $700 total. Staff <br />recommends accepting the proposal from <br />Meridian Title Corporation. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />professional services in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area and authorized <br />staff to retain Meridian Title Corporation <br />based on the scope of services and fee <br />proposed. (Title Work, Olive Road) <br />F. South Bend Medical Services District <br />There was no business in the South Bend Medical <br />Services District. <br />G. West Washington- Chapin Development Area <br />There was no business in the West Washington - <br />Chapin Development Area. <br />H. South Side Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />professional services in the South Side <br />Development Area. (Demolition, 4209 S. <br />Main Street) <br />G <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE AIRPORT <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA AND <br />AUTHORIZED STAFF TO RETAIN MERIDIAN TITLE <br />CORPORATION BASED ON THE SCOPE OF <br />SERVICES AND FEE PROPOSED. (TITLE WORK, <br />OLIVE ROAD) <br />THERE WAS NO BUSINESS IN THE SOUTH BEND <br />MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT. <br />THERE WAS NO BUSINESS IN THE WEST <br />WASHINGTON- CHAPIN DEVELOPMENT AREA. <br />
