South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting — May 6, 2005 <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by Mr. Blake and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission approved the <br />Claims submitted May 6, 2005, and ordered checks to <br />be released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Tax Abatements <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2163 approving an <br />application for real property tax deduction <br />for property located at 606 West Calvert <br />Street and 1706 South William Street. <br />(Frederick Williams) <br />Mr. Schalliol reported that Mr. Frederick <br />Williams has applied for residential tax <br />abatements on four (4) properties. Two of <br />those properties, 606 West Calvert Street and <br />1706 South William Street, are located in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area which <br />requires Redevelopment Commission <br />approval before proceeding to the Common <br />Council. <br />Mr. Williams will construct four new homes. <br />The homes will be approximately 1,320 <br />square feet, with three (3) bedrooms, two (2) <br />bathrooms, living room, and dining room. <br />The homes will have ceramic tile floors and <br />appliances. The cost of the new homes will <br />3 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />SUBMITTED MAY 6, 2005, AND ORDERED THE <br />CHECKS TO BE RELEASED. <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />
