A <br />C� <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Special Meeting — July 5, 2005 <br />received from Jefferson Street Associates, <br />LLC, a limited liability company affiliated <br />with Browning Investments, Inc., related to <br />the St. Joseph/Jefferson Garage Office <br />Project. The bid was opened by Mr. Inks. <br />The contents of the bid included the <br />following: <br />— Cover letter <br />— Two (2) copies of a proposal titled <br />"Proposal for Jefferson and St. Joseph <br />Street Building, July 1, 2005 <br />— Required deposit check in the amount of <br />$16,250 representing ten percent of the <br />offering price of $162,500 <br />Ms. Greene reviewed the bid documents and <br />reported to the Commission that the Affidavit <br />of Non - Collusion, Statement For Public <br />Disclosure, Statement of Qualifications and <br />Financial Responsibility, and the Letter of <br />Application to the Commission were <br />included with the proposal and all had been <br />properly executed. Ms. Greene advised the <br />Commission that all bid requirements were <br />satisfied. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission acknowledged receipt of one (1) <br />bid from Browning Investments which <br />satisfied all requirements and included the <br />required deposit. The Commission referred <br />the bid to staff for further review and <br />recommendation. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />There was no report. <br />8. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />COMMISSION ACKNOWLEDGED RECEIPT OF <br />ONE (1) BID FROM BROWNING INVESTMENTS <br />WHICH SATISFIED ALL REQUIREMENTS AND <br />INCLUDED THE REQUIRED DEPOSIT. THE <br />COMMISSION REFERRED THE BID TO STAFF FOR <br />FURTHER REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION. <br />PROGRESS REPORTS <br />The next meeting of the Redevelopment Commission is NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />
