Airport Economic Development Area <br />F. South Bend Medical Services District <br />G. West Washington- Chapin Development Area <br />H. South Side Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />South Side Development Area. (Appraisal <br />IL work at 4223 S. Main Street.) <br />Mr. Williams noted that items 6. H. (1) and <br />6. H. (2) are related to the same property. <br />Acquisition of 4223 S. Main St. is needed to <br />complement acquisitions already completed <br />at 4201, 4209 and 4309 S. Main St. The <br />combined properties will be used for a <br />proposed reconfiguration of S. Main St. We <br />need two appraisals and a title search to <br />move forward. Witt Appraisal Services <br />submitted a proposal to perform an appraisal <br />of the property for a fee of $700. Chris <br />Michaels Appraisals submitted a proposal to <br />do the work for a fee of $325. Staff <br />recommends accepting both proposals. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />proposals for professional services in the <br />South Side Development Area and accepted <br />the proposals from Witt Appraisal Services <br />14 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROPOSALS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE <br />SOUTH SIDE DEVELOPMENT AREA AND <br />ACCEPTED THE PROPOSALS FROM WITT <br />APPRAISAL SERVICES AND CHRIS MICHAELS FOR <br />THE SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE PROPOSED. <br />
