Tax Abatements <br />(1) continued... <br />abatement must first be approved by the <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br />Mr. Schaffer also noted that the project meets <br />the qualifications for a five year residential <br />tax abatement under the tax abatement <br />ordinance. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2181 <br />approving an application for tax deduction <br />for residential property located at 920 and <br />922 Notre Dame Avenue in the Northeast <br />Neighborhood Development Area. Housing <br />(1) Commission approval requested for Loan <br />and Grant in connection with the South <br />Bend Home Improvement Program for <br />property located at 1410 Donald Street. <br />(Valerie J. Simmons) <br />Mr. Inks noted that the loan is in the amount <br />of $4,700. The grant is for $7,500. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Hojnacki and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the loan and grant in <br />connection with the South Bend Home <br />Improvement Program for property located at <br />1410 Donald Street (Valerie J.
