South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting — November 4, 2005 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />C. Airport Economic Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Engineering services, U.S. 31 Industrial <br />Park) <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that when the <br />Redevelopment Commission sold property to <br />Woodwind and Brasswind, we had a <br />designed roadway easement, but did not have <br />a platted roadway easement for what would <br />become Woodwind Way. Staff has requested <br />a proposal from the Abonmarche Group <br />which did the replat to actually create a <br />dedication for the roadway. The cost is a <br />not -to- exceed amount of $500. Staff <br />recommends approval. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, seconded <br />by Mr. Downes and unanimously carried the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area and <br />accepted the proposal from the Abonmarche <br />Group for the scope of services and fee <br />proposed. <br />(2) Commission approval requested for <br />Certificate of Completion for property in <br />the Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Woodwind & Brasswind) <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that staff has verified that <br />all the conditions of the Contract for Sale of <br />Land to the Woodwind and Brasswind have <br />been met. Staff recommends issuing a <br />Certificate of Completion to the Woodwind <br />and Brasswind for property at 4955 <br />ILI 9 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE <br />AIRPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA AND <br />ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM THE <br />ABONMARCHE GROUP FOR THE SCOPE OF <br />SERVICES AND FEE PROPOSED <br />
