South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting .— October 19, 2007 <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS (CONT.) <br />Mr. Irks noted that staff` is continuing to move the Eddy <br />Street Commons project forward, putting together a <br />development agreement. We have been keeping the <br />Council informed, so as we get close to working with <br />there, they will be up to speed on the project. <br />.fir. Inks also noted that staff is also starting to move <br />forward on the South Bend Lathe demolition. We <br />expect to take bids late in November and start the actual <br />demolition in December. That should really open up the <br />Studebaker Industrial Park to a view from Sample <br />Street. <br />Mr. Witver reported that the olive Road expansion <br />north of the Toll Road bridge and Bn'ck west of the <br />bypass is complete and under budget. <br />Ms. Laurent reported that the 101 I. Michigan project <br />has been on hold, waiting for approval of the Historic <br />Tax Credits application. That approval has finally been <br />issued, triggering the financial commitment that <br />oothal er & Company needed to provide us. Majority <br />Builders will be awarded the contract Monday morning. <br />8.
