Vest Washington-Chapin Development Area <br />Filing of Resolution No, 2383 amending <br />the West Washington Chapin <br />Development Area Development Plan and <br />setting a public hearing for 0:00 a.m., <br />October 19, 2007 on Resolution No. 2384. <br />Mr. Witwer noted that when the Airport <br />Economic Development elopr. ent Area was expanded <br />to include the Hurwich Iron and Marrcrest <br />properties, that created are overlap with the <br />West Washington-Chapin Development <br />Area. Resolution No. 2383 will correct that <br />overlap by removing the Hurwich Iron and <br />Marcrest properties from the West <br />Washington Chapin Development Area. <br />Mr. Witwer also noted that the expansion of <br />the South Bead Central Development Area at <br />its southwest comer anticipates incorporating <br />about a half block of what is now in the West <br />Washin gton- Chapin Development Area into <br />the S C A.. So, Resolution No. 2353 also <br />removes that half block from the Vest <br />Washington - Chapin Development Area. <br />Mr. King asked if removing these properties <br />from the WWCA will have any negativ <br />effect such as reducing its TIF revenue. Mr. <br />Witwer responded that the effects would not <br />be significant. No one interested in the <br />vC A has expressed any concern about <br />that. <br />Mr. King made a. motion to accept <br />Resolution No. 2383 for filing and set <br />public hearing for 10:00 a.m., October 19, <br />2007 on Resolution No. 2383. Mr. Downes <br />seconded the motion.
