South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting -July 20, 2007 <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Mr. Peczkowski asked about the Downtown South Bend <br />claim for $148,500. He wondered if that expense is out <br />of the $225,000 we appropriated previously, or is that in <br />addition to the funds already appropriated? Mr. Inks <br />responded that it is part of the $275,000 previously <br />appropriated from TIF funds by the Redevelopment <br />Commission. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Ms. Jones <br />and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the <br />Claims submitted July 20, 2007, and ordered checks to <br />be released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications other than those related <br />to the Public Hearings; those will be read in conjunction <br />with the Public Hearings. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />Mr. Inks asked to consider items 6.A.(3) and 6.A.(4) <br />first. There was no objection and the items were moved <br />to the top of New Business. <br />A. Public Hearing <br />(3) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2351 <br />confirming a resolution designating and <br />declaring certain areas as economic <br />development areas to amend the <br />boundaries of the Airport Economic <br />Development Area by adding the LaSalle <br />Square and Marycrest/Hurwich areas to <br />the Airport Economic Development Area, <br />by designating the expansion areas as part <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />SUBMITTED JULY 2O, 2007, AND ORDERED THE <br />CHECKS TO BE RELEASED <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />5 <br />
