Lyphoact <br />Vice President for Business Operations <br />Ms. Puzzello, Common Council <br />representative from the Fourth District where <br />the Northeast Neighborhood is located, spoke <br />in favor of establishing a residential TIF <br />district which will help with the great amount <br />of housing that is being done In that area. <br />Mr. Roberts, president of NNRO, indicated <br />his support. <br />Mayor Lueel e offered his full support of the <br />residential TIF distri.et, saying it is an <br />ii ortant component for financing additional <br />infrastructure we are needing to do in the <br />area, including roads and the parking <br />structure. we've based our model on <br />residential TIF that was done in Indianapolis, <br />the Fails Creek area, which has been very <br />successful. We believe this will be just as <br />successful. <br />Mr. Gibney noted that this action this <br />morning is the culmination of about five <br />years of really fantastic work by the <br />institutions that are the founding members of <br />the NR , the board members of the <br />neighborhood organization, and the City of <br />South Bend. He spoke to Mr. Feclovsi's <br />question about the attendance at the public <br />meeting. One of the things that's so <br />4 <br />
