Perhaps some meetings could be <br />red during the lunch hour or at other more <br />convenient tis es. <br />:Mr. Ins noted that staff tn'ed to improve the <br />agenda for this meeting by making it clearer what <br />the items were about. <br />Mr. Iiiks indicated that staff is continuing to work <br />on the request to publish relevant information on <br />the Commission's Web site. He agreed we need to <br />do more. <br />Mr. Peczkowski asked for some background on the <br />Community Forum for Economic Development. <br />Ms. Wolfson responded that the organization does <br />not have ion- profit status. Most of its members <br />are active in other neighborhood or community <br />organizations. Defining ining economic development <br />broadly, the Forum is interested in tax abatement <br />and TIF, as well as other things. Therefore, the <br />Commission's business is of interest to members. <br />Ms. Hemandez has been attending Commission <br />meetings for some time to monitor its activities. <br />Over time the committee has compiled suggestions <br />to improve the transparency of the Commission as <br />well as allow more democracy from stakeholders. <br />
