APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONY.) <br />619 FUND BLACKTHORN <br />Meadowbrook Golf Group Inc. <br />Ryan Incorporated Central. <br />Mr. Peczkowski asked that in the future the Commission <br />be provided with a quarterly balance sheet for <br />Blackthorn Golf Course. Mr. Inks responded that he <br />would do so. <br />Upon a niotion. by Mr. Peczkowskl., seconded by Mr. <br />Blake ai -id unanimously carried, the Commission <br />approved. the Claims submittcd June 8, 2007, and <br />ordered cheeks to be released. <br />4$ COMMUNICATIONS <br />A. Communication from Community Forum for <br />Economic Development. <br />Mr. Iriks noted that the Commission received a <br />communication from the Community Form for <br />Economic Development dated May 24, 2007. The <br />Communication read as follows: <br />The Community Forum is very interested in the <br />issues of economic develnptnent, that <br />carne before the Redevelopment Commission. <br />However, many Forznn members have found it <br />difficult to participate meaningfully in the <br />Co37amissiorz's process in their effort to help <br />provide the necessary public input essential to such <br />important economic development decisions. <br />In wha follows, we make e s i is suggestionsfor <br />how the Connn ssion could improve its <br />transparency and accounta i i )� and how it could <br />r .c ease the public 's democratic input.
