Mr. <br />Doolittle responded that he thought a general <br />compensation schedule could be defined, but <br />different kinds of cases require different <br />tools. It's hard to anticipate. If there's a <br />transaction that requires them to step to the <br />table and take some risk, he promised they' d <br />be right there. South Bend is one of the most <br />facility-rich communities in the State of <br />Indiana. There needs to be a solid plan that <br />can be executed to take advantage of those <br />rich facilities. <br />Mr. Toothaker reviewed the elements of the <br />CB Richard Ellis proposal. CB Richard Ellis <br />is a locally owned CB Richard Ellis partner. <br />There are CB Richard Ellis offices in other <br />nearby counties. They have handled requests <br />for property in our area from clients in the <br />surrounding counties. They believe the long <br />term value for an investment user is to locate <br />in the South Bend area. <br />CB Richard Ellis, nationally, is the biggest <br />real estate commercial group in the world. <br />The connections and contacts they have in <br />the Chicago market offer a lot of opportunity <br />for South Bend. <br />Mr. Toothaker also pointed out that CB <br />Richard Ellis has recently purchased <br />Trammel Crow Company, a large <br />commercial real estate service provider to <br />corporate users.
