Dieter On May 25"' seven (7) members of the South Bend Common Council sent a <br /> First District letter to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission regarding a request on <br /> their agenda for an additional $300,000 of TIF dollars for the construction of <br /> Henry Davis, Jr. <br /> Second District the proposed Animal Shelter at 521 Eclipse Place. That letter was also sent to <br /> Mayor Luecke, Gary Gilot, Jeff Gibney and Catherine Toppel, so that all key <br /> Thomas LaFountain city departments would be involved in further discussions. The Redevelopment <br /> Third District Commission tabled that appropriation request. <br /> Ann Puzzello Much work and planning has gone into this proposed project. It is my <br /> .Fourth District understanding that on June 30"', the Board of Public Works again opened bids <br /> David Varner <br /> on the proposed construction of the Animal Shelter, with those bids coming in Fifth District well above the projected estimates. <br /> Oliver J. Davis We will soon be reviewing comprehensive documents related to the 2011 city <br /> Sixth District budget. I believe that the same due diligence which we use for budgetary <br /> reviews is appropriate for proposed capital projects. <br /> AI "Buddy" Kirsits <br /> At Lat'ge In the interest of finding an amicable and lasting solution for a comprehensive <br /> and fiscally responsible animal care, control and shelter program, I am <br /> Timothy A.
