<br /> Mr. Robert Nichols, Engineering, advised the Board that quotations were received and opened
<br /> for the above referenced project. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Nichols recommended
<br /> that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Moore's
<br /> Concrete, Inc., 313 West Jefferson Street, Lakeville, Indiana 46536, in the amount of$7.00 per
<br /> linear foot, not to exceed $5,600.00 per block. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the
<br /> recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded
<br /> the motion, which carried.

<br /> Mr. Gilot advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, has submitted Change Order No. 3 on behalf
<br /> of Walsh & Kelly, Inc., 24358 State Road 23, South Bend, Indiana 46614, indicating the
<br /> Contract amount be increased by $22,873.00 for a modified Contract sure, including this Change
<br /> Order, in the amount of$2,175,462.59. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr.
<br /> Inks and carried, the Change Order was approved.
<br /> APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 — COVELESKI STADIUM IMPROVEMENTS —

<br /> Mr. Gilot advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, has submitted Change Order No. 1 on behalf
<br /> of J.E.M. Morris Construction, Inc., 49 West 102 U.S. Route 30, Big Rock, Illinois 60511,
<br /> indicating the Contract amount be increased by $11,649.22 for a modified Contract sum,
<br /> including this Change Order, in the amount of $978,149.22. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br /> Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Change Order was approved.
<br /> APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. I — DEMOLITION OF FORMER FRED'S
<br /> TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH.—PROJECT NO. 110-043 (SBCDA TIF)
<br /> Mr. Gilot advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, has submitted Change Order No. 1 on behalf
<br /> of Indiana Earth, Inc., 10343 McKinley Highway, Osceola, Indiana 46561, indicating the
<br /> Contract amount be increased by $29,734.01 for a modified Contract sum, including this Change
<br /> Order, in the amount of $216,708.01. Mr. Villa noted the increase was due to the discovery of
<br /> five (5) buried underground storage tanks that had to be removed. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br /> Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Change Order was approved.
<br /> APPROVE CORRECTED CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 — COVELESKI STADIUM

<br /> Mr. Gilot advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, has submitted a Corrected Change Order No.
<br /> 1 on behalf of Ziolkowski Construction, 4050 Ralph Jones Drive, South Bend, Indiana 46628,
<br /> indicating the Contract amount be increased by $82,556.00 for a modified Contract sure,
<br /> including this Change Order, in the amount of $1,110,556.00. Mr. Villa stated that on his
<br /> previously submitted Change Order No. 1, the change was based upon the wrong starting
<br /> contract amount. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the
<br /> corrected Change Order was approved.
