South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —June 14, 2011 <br />Park, provide public transportation, publicity, <br />marketing campaigns and to generally <br />support the partnership that has developed. <br />As Ignition Park matures the city may <br />construct a building and develop software <br />systems compatible with one another so that <br />it is seamless for clients to move from <br />Innovation Park to Ignition Park. <br />Mayor Luecke asked for favorable <br />consideration of the Memorandum of <br />Understanding. <br />Mr. Varner asked if Innovation Park would <br />also partner with Ignition Park for some of <br />the advertising costs. The Mayor answered <br />that Innovation Park does some of its own <br />marketing, including working with Blue <br />Waters Group for promotion and marketing. <br />In the future, yes, the city will expect to do <br />joint advertising with Innovation Park. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by <br />Ms. King, and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Memorandum of <br />Understanding between Innovation Park, <br />Notre Dame, Inc. and the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana on behalf of Ignition Park. <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. Approval of Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />Tuesday, May 24, 2011. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by Mr. <br />Varner, and unanimously carried, the Commission <br />approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />Tuesday, May 24, 2011. <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE MEMORANDUM <br />OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN INNOVATION <br />PARK, NOTRE DAME, INC. AND THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA ON BEHALF OF <br />IGNITION PARK <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE MINUTES OF THE <br />REGULAR MEETING OF TUESDAY, MAY 24, <br />2011. <br />Redevelopment Commission Claims submitted June 14, 2011 for approval. <br />
