August 13, 2007 Personnel and Finance Cornrrsittee Meeting <br />Page 2 <br />Council Member Kuspa recommended that Bill No. 45-07 be sent with an unfavorable <br />recommendation. The motion died for lack of a second. <br />Dr. Varner made a motion, seconded by Council member Kirsits that Bill No. 45-07 be <br />amended to reflect a freezing of Council salaries at 2007 levels and be sent to the Council <br />with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed. <br />Miscellaneous Business; <br />Council Member Pfeifer noted that the committee hearings on the proposed 2008 Civil City <br />Budget begin this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. She noted that there are at least two (2) Saturday <br />meetings scheduled, and she hopes the public will attend. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Pfeifer <br />adjourned the meeting at 4:46 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />~~~~ ~ } <br />Council Member Charlo ~ e D.
