LUECKE,MAYOR <br /> DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE <br /> GREGG D.ZIENTARA <br /> CONTROLLER <br /> June 8, 2011 <br /> Mr. Derek Dieter <br /> President, South Bend Common Council <br /> 4"'Floor, County-City Building <br /> South Bend, IN 46601 <br /> re: Ordinance of the Common Council for Budget Transfers of Various Departments within the Civil <br /> City of South Bend <br /> Dear President Dieter: <br /> Unforeseen conditions have developed since the initial adoption of the existing budgets approved by <br /> Common Council Spending Ordinances #10045-10 and #10046-10 which necessitate the increase and <br /> reduction of appropriations within various departments of the General Fund and other funds of the City of <br /> South Bend during 2011. <br /> Attached is a spending appropriation bill for this purpose with an attachment providing details to all of the <br /> increases and reductions. The attached schedule is incorporated into the bill itself and made a part <br /> thereof. <br /> The increases and reductions included herewith are expenditure neutral for the 2011 budget, with <br /> increases and reductions netting to a zero dollar appropriation. <br /> I will present this bill to the Common Council at the appropriate Council Committee meeting, public <br /> hearing, and at the Council meeting. It is requested that this Bill be filed for 1" reading at the June 13, <br /> 2011 Council meeting, with 2rld, 3rd reading and council vote at the June 27, 2011 Council meeting. <br /> I am available to discuss any matters concerning this bill at the convenience of Council. <br /> Regard fl, <br /> Gregg ®.
