<br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
<br />In 2000 the aty of South Bend enacted an OGmnance eslabTishing fees to various reports and documents
<br />of the aty of South Bend, These fees should t» reviewed and adjusted periodivally m reflect increased
<br />costs of the production of these documents and other services. I.C. 36-1-3-8(a)(8) 9ive5 ~ CtiY the

<br />services.' TFresa changes reflect those adjusted costs and establish costs br other services.
<br />This Ordinance establishes a Ngtrer fee for cola phoro Copies and raises the tee fa deck certifications,
<br />finger prints, and rtata vehide accident repads. I.C. 5-14-3-8 was amended effective July 1, 2007 and
<br />now authorizes a certification tee of up 35.00 and a cola copy fee of up to 50.25, both of which are
<br />inducted in this ordnance The other changes reflect increased costs.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED, try the Comnan Courxal of the aty ~ South Bend as foOows:
<br />Section I.
<br />Chapter 2, Article 18, Section 2-210 of the Munidpal Code of the City of South Bend is hereby amended

<br />earned on Ore monies deposited In said fund be retained therein.
<br />(e) Any tees cdlecled pursuant th this section by tha South Bend Fire Department shall be deposited into
<br />the E.M.S. capital fund for capital purchases and leases of E.M.S. equipment, firefighting equipment and
<br />fire station and fire station repairs as further addressed in §9-17 of Ore South Bend Munidpal Code.
<br />Section II.
<br />This Ordinance shall De in full force and effect from and after the date of TLS passage by tlra Common
<br />Council, approval by the Maya and Iegai pudication.
