September 25, 2006 Zoning and Annexation Committee Meeting Minutes <br />Page 5 <br />Mayor Luecke stated that Park Superintendent has asked an architect to go through the <br />#acilities and report to the Park Board with what options may be available, along with <br />presenting reasonable estimates of costs. He also has met with Dave Frame and that <br />they are considering donating some labor andlor materials. <br />Council Member Dieter requested that the Mayor restore the cuts made by the <br />Administration to enable the greenhouseslconservatories to remain operational next <br />year. <br />Mayor Luecke stated he would prefer the allow the budget to go forward and get <br />information back to the Council within one (1) month. if possible, presentations may be <br />made to the Council if warranted. He added that Phil St. Clair is not present today <br />because he is at a convention. <br />Citizen Member Talley inquired whether a proposed fire station is still in the works for <br />the area now occupied by the greenhouses/conservatories. <br />Mayor Luecke stated that money could be paid if the greenhouses are taken down for a <br />fire station, however, it is not a proposal at this time. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Kuspa <br />adjourned the Commi#tee meeting at 4:10 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted <br />~~ <br />Council Member Arvin Kuspa, Chairperson <br />Zoning and Annexation Committee <br />Attachments <br />
