To date, there
have been two emergency demolitions in this area and one by Code Enforcement.
This Addendum covers 24 structures in areas where the Commission owns properties that
are not right next to non -owned structures, thereby making it easier for asbestos abatement
and to demolish and clear the properties. Another Addendum will be presented for
additional demolitions when key properties are acquired to allow for easier abatement and
property clearance.
It is estimated that the total cost of this project will be $300,000, which includes asbestos
abatement prior to demolition, and demolition and property clearance.
Staff requests your approval of this project, in a not -to- exceed amount of $300,000.
What We Do Today Makes A Difference!
