We have already
received commitments from local veterinarians who will be donating their time to
perform free spay /neuter surgeries for our animals. This would remove the expense
from potential adopters. We also hope to utilize the surgical suite to continue the
already very popular Neuter Scooter service for the community.
An attractive, more welcoming facility will provide us with ample opportunities to
host community classes in the building. These classes can range from basic
obedience classes to more advanced workshops lead by local animal health and
welfare leaders such as Dr. Jocelyn Rudman, DVM.
d
As South Bend taxpayers, we appreciate the oversight as
to requests made for TIF funding.
