Task 5 - Bidding Services: <br />CBBEL will provide three full copies of the final design documents to the City prior to <br />bidding. CBBEL will assist the City in conducting a pre -bid conference at a location of the <br />City's choosing. CBBEL will address contractor questions and prepare and issue addenda. <br />Following bid opening, CBBEL will compile and certify bid tabulation sheets and provide a <br />contract award recommendation to the City. It is assumed that City staff or representatives <br />will coordinate the bid collection, bid opening, and the preparation of the construction <br />agreement. <br />SCHEDULE <br />EDULE <br />Services by CBBEL for this project will be completed within 120 calendar days from the <br />Notice to Proceed. <br />ESTIMATED FEE <br />We have estimated the total cost for these services to be $84,000 including reimbursable <br />expenses. This total fee is estimated to be divided between the Tasks as follows: <br />Task 1 — Survey (Sub- consultant) <br />$17,300 <br />Task 2 — Concept Plan Development <br />$12,200 <br />Task 3 — Full Design Services <br />$39,500 <br />Task 4 — Rule 5 Permit <br />$ 6,500 <br />Task 5 — Bidding Services <br />$ 7,500 <br />Reimbursable Expenses <br />1,000 <br />Total $84,000 <br />If and when the value of work accomplished exceeds 80% of the total estimated fee, we will <br />assess the remaining work and will notify you, in writing, if additional compensation will be <br />needed. If additional compensation is needed, we will do no work beyond the total <br />estimated fee until you issue a written notice accepting the additional charges. <br />We will bill you monthly, on a time and material basis, for assigned tasks in accordance with <br />our attached standard Charges for Professional Services. In addition, our contract will be <br />established in accordance with the attached General Terms and Conditions. These General <br />Terms and Conditions are expressly incorporated into and are an integral part of this <br />contract for professional services. <br />Reimbursable expenses include mileage for all project - related travel, color plots, <br />photocopies and plan reproduction, and supplies, such as binders, tabs, and related office <br />products. Reimbursable expenses are expected to not exceed $1,000 and will be listed <br />separately on project invoices. <br />If this proposal meets with your approval, please sign where indicated and return an <br />executed original to us as our Notice to Proceed. The executed Proposal, along with the <br />Estimated Fee, the attached Standard Charges for Professional Services, and the attached <br />Christopher B.
