<br />REGULAR MEETINGSEPTEMBER 12, 2005 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana met in <br />the Council Chambers of the County-City Building on Monday, September 12, 2005 at <br />7:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Council President Charlotte D. Talboom Deputy City Clerk <br />REPORT FROM THE SUB-COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: The sub-committee has inspected <br />the minutes of the August 22, 2005, meeting of the Council and found them to be correct. <br />Therefore, we recommend the same be approved. <br /> s/Charlotte D. Pfeifer <br /> s/David Varner <br />Councilmember White made a motion that the minutes of the August 22, 2005, meeting <br />of the Council be accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Kelly seconded the <br />motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br />SPECIAL BUSINESS <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3511-05 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON <br /> COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA, DESIGNATING AND <br />ESTABLISHING 401 EAST INDIANA AVENUE <br />AN HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT BUILDING <br />WHEREAS , the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, recognizes that <br />Louis Clark, with the support of other organizations, has maintained his Craftsman <br />Bungalow Style residence favored by many in the growing neighborhoods in South Bend <br />th <br />in the early years of the 20 Century; and <br />WHEREAS, the efforts taken by Louis Clark to maintain and improve his property <br />located at 401 East Indiana have added to the public good; and <br />WHEREAS, the Christmas-In-April program selected this property eleven (11) years ago <br />as one of the houses to be renovated; and <br />1 <br /> <br />
