Mr. Carl Littrell, PE SB Memorial Hospital March 30, 2010 0 CARL WALKER, INC. FEE We propose to provide our services on a lump sum fee plus customary reimbursable expense basis. Reimbursable expenses include travel, communication, postage, and reproduction. The following table summarizes our proposed fees and anticipated expenses: Carl Walker, Inc. Professional Fees Phase Description Fees Estimated Expenses 4 Design Update $12,500 $200 • Code Consultant Allowance (RTM) $1,000 5 Bidding $4,500 $400 6 Construction Administration $19,500 $1,500 TOTAL $37,500 $2,100 Our proposed reimbursable expenses anticipate that final drawing reproduction and distribution costs will be by the City. Our fee does not include the preparation of a rendered perspective. Our proposed fee is based on up to three (3) meetings during the design phases, and a total of fourteen (14) site visits during bidding and construction. This proposed fee does not include costs- for materials testing or geotechnical engineering. We anticipate using the standard AIA Agreement between the City of South Bend and Carl Walker.
