Michigan St.), from 5:00-8:00pm. <br /> The City of South Bend will join the NIAIA to kick off the week with a proclamation by Mayor <br /> Steve Luecke declaring April 9-14, 2007 as National Architecture Week in South Bend. The <br /> proclamation will be given at 5:15pm, and will honor the 150"' anniversary of the founding of the <br /> American Institute of Architects. <br /> The AIA Dyngus Day event will also include the unveiling of the 2006 AIA Northern <br /> Indiana Design Award winners, recognized for excellence in architectural design in northern <br /> Indiana In addition, Notre Dame student architecture work will be on display, as well as <br /> information on the Downtown South Bend, Inc. Pride of Place Awards. <br /> The kick off will also highlight upcoming AIA activities, including a two-day symposium <br /> on April 13-14. The symposium entitled, "Creating a 21"Century College Town"will be held in <br /> Bond Hall at the Notre Dame School of Architecture and will focus on the creation of gateway <br />
