ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SOUTH BEND,INDIANA,APPROPRIATING$157,000 RECEIVED FROM THE <br /> U.S.DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FOR THE WEED& SEED PROGRAM <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> In order to deliver services to individuals within our community,the City of South Bend <br /> received funds from the U.S.Department of Justice to insure the delivery of programs,projects, <br /> and services. The funds appropriated in this ordinance will aid in the defraying costs of <br /> programming within the designated Weed& Seed Site#2-Northwest. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,INDIANA,AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION I. The sum of$157,000 is hereby appropriated within Fund 212 for use <br /> under the guidelines of the U.S.Department of Justice Weed& Seed Program. <br /> SECTION II.
