No action on the matter was ta�:en by the Board. <br /> Chief DeVleeschcwer reoluested that the Board raembers be present at a <br /> meeting to be held in his office on Thursday, Octaber 5, 1939, at 2:00 P.i�T. <br /> to discuss a resolution presenttld to the Board of Public ��orks and Safety <br /> and the Chief of the Fire yepartment in connection with t he co��rectness of <br /> fire losses. This resolution was presented by the Association of Commerce, <br /> and its fire prevention co�mittee.
