He tivas instructed by tne Board to contact the source <br /> of supp:.y of the transfers and report his findin�a at a future meeting. <br /> � I <br /> A reque:�t from St. Stanislaus � Parish to blockade Brookfield Street from � <br /> FlorencE; Street to Syble Street during certain hours on �he o ccas�on of <br /> a churc�i bazaar to be held in August was considered by the Board. The i <br /> Clerk �vfis instructed to notify t he Street Depart�ent concerning the pro- <br /> posed b:.ockade. <br /> ✓ <br /> The Boai�d approved tne appointr,sent o f Gustin D. Jaqua, 1022 S. 32nd Street <br /> to serv� as a special police officer for �vork at Pla.yland Park and the ; <br /> Univers ty of Notre Dame. j <br /> ✓ I <br /> Bonds, z�rith the Columbia Casualty Company as surety, �vere approved for <br /> the fol7.owing police�en: Paul I�TeCarroll, Robert rlatt and Ernest F.Busch. <br /> ✓ <br /> Chief Ir�ram was authorized by the Board to attend the Indiana Association � <br /> of Chie1's of Police Convention to be held at French Lick on June 13-15,1939, <br /> ✓ <br /> Police c�fficer Levi tlulf was called before the Board to explain certain <br /> alleged remarks he had made regarding the Police Depart�ent s�stem, which <br /> remarks he denied having made, and ti�as instructed b� the Board to confine ; <br /> lil�e rer�arks to his superior officers in the future.
