REGULAR MEETING MARCH 28 2011 112 <br /> APPROVAL OF TRANSIENT MERCHANT LICENSE APPLICATION RENEWAL <br /> Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations for the College <br /> Football Hall of Fame Transient Merchant License Application Renewal for the Enshrinement <br /> Festival on July 15 and 17, 2011, at the College Football Hall of Fame, 111 South St. Joseph <br /> Street. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the License <br /> Application was approved. <br /> APPROVE SIDEWALK CAFE PERMIT APPLICATION <br /> Mr. Gilot indicated that the Board is in receipt of the following Sidewalk Cafe Permit <br /> application: <br /> APPLICANT: Noma Restaurant <br /> BUSINESS ADDRESS: 119 North Michigan Street <br /> DAYS/TIMES OF OPERATION: Monday—Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. to Midnight <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Sidewalk Cafe permit was <br /> approved. <br /> APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br /> Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following traffic <br /> control devices were approved: <br /> NEW INSTALLATION: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign <br /> LOCATIONS: 322 Kunstman Court <br /> 513 East Irvington Street <br /> 429 South Jackson Street <br /> 2705 Fredrickson Street <br /> REMARKS: All criteria has been met <br /> DENY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br /> Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following traffic <br /> control device was denied: <br /> DENIED: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign <br /> LOCATION: 2918 Elwood Street <br /> REMARKS: Driveway and Garage Provide Better Parking Nearer to the <br /> Home <br /> FILING OF MONTHLY AND PERFORMANCE MEASURE REPORTS — DEPARTMENT <br /> OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> The Division of Central Services and Environmental Services submitted their Monthly and <br /> Performance Reports for the month of February, 2011. There being no further discussion, upon a <br /> motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the monthly reports were <br /> accepted and filed. <br /> FILING OF SAFETY REPORTS —DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> The Divisions of Central Services submitted their Safety Reports for February, 2011. These <br /> reports reflect injuries/accidents for each month and provide for a comparison. There being no <br /> further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the <br /> reports were accepted and filed. <br /> FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br /> Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the Certificates of <br /> Insurance for the following businesses were accepted for filing: <br /> A. QC Communications, Inc., Wabash, Indiana <br /> B. Specialty Systems of South Bend, Inc., South Bend, Indiana <br /> RATIFY APPROVAL AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTOR AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br /> Mr. Anthony Molnar, Division of Engineering, recommended that the following Contractor and <br /> Excavation Bonds be ratified pursuant to Resolution 100-2000 and/or released as follows: <br />
