Luecke and the South Bend Public Transportation Corporation <br /> (TRANSPO)Board of Directors announce the appointment of Jim Aranowski to the Board. <br /> "Jim's credentials, experience and outstanding integrity, make him an asset to the Board," <br /> commented Mayor Luecke. TRANSPO General Manager William "Rick"Brown said, "We're <br /> looking forward to Jim's partnership with TRANSPO and we feel that his background will be <br /> very beneficial to our endeavors." <br /> Mr. Aranowski comes to the board having served as a former District I City Council <br /> member and former president of the St. Joseph County Alcoholic Beverage Commission. He has <br /> a B.S. degree in Business from Indiana University and is a lifelong resident of South Bend. Jim <br /> is a partner and senior accountant at David P. Aranowski, CPA, LLC accounting firm. He has <br /> been associated with the firm for twenty years. <br /> Mr. Oliver Davis, chairperson of the TRANSPO Board of Directors, stated "I am grateful <br /> that Mayor Stephen Luecke has appointed Jim Aranowski to our Board. Jim comes to us with a <br /> wealth of experience in public service to our community and with professional expertise in <br /> accounting. He will serve on our Finance & Administration Committee and on the Grants and <br /> Planning Committee. We look forward to his leadership as we work together to enhance transit <br /> services for the citizens of South Bend and Mishawaka". <br />
