Luecke, Mayor <br /> RELEASE FROM: FOR RELEASE: <br /> Communications& Special Projects Date <br /> Storm Water Pollution Prevention Workshop <br /> A free workshop for local contractors and developers will be offered on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 from <br /> 1230 to 4:30 p.m., at the Osceola Town Hall, 850 Lincoln Way West, Osceola, IN, and on Wednesday, <br /> October 26, 2005 from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Ivy Tech Community College, 220 Dean Johnson Blvd., South <br /> Bend, IN. <br /> Workshop topics will focus on storm water pollution prevention issues, best management practices for <br /> construction sites, and Indiana rules and regulations for obtaining permits. There will also be sessions on <br /> the Indiana Storm Water Manual and other information dealing with pre/post construction activities. <br /> This workshop is a requirement of the Federal Clean Water Act and part of our community's efforts to <br /> protect and enhance our local river and streams.
