Luecke, Mayor <br />RELEASE FROM:FOR RELEASE: <br />Office of the MayorThursday, December 22, 2005 <br />Holiday Solid Waste Pick Up Schedule <br />The City of South Bend announced that due to the observance of Christmas Day on Monday, December 26 <br />and New Year’s Day on Monday, January 2, there will be no trash pickup on either of these days. Therefore, <br />residents are reminded that the regular trash collection day will be one day late, for the next two weeks. <br />Regularly scheduled pick-up will resume the week of January 9, 2006. <br />During the next two weeks, the trash pickup schedule will be: <br />Week of Dec. 26, 2005 <br /> NO REGULAR PICKUP <br />Monday: <br /> Monday pickup <br />Tuesday: <br /> Tuesday pickup <br />Wednesday: <br /> Wednesday pickup <br />Thursday: <br /> Thursday pickup <br />Friday: <br />Week of Jan. 2, 2006 <br /> NO REGULAR PICKUP <br />Monday: <br /> Monday pickup <br />Tuesday: <br /> Tuesday pickup <br />Wednesday: <br /> Wednesday pickup <br />Thursday: <br /> Thursday pickup <br />Friday: <br />As a reminder, the City will begin collecting discarded, natural Christmas trees on Tuesday, January 3, on a <br />call-in basis. The number to call for Christmas tree pickup is 235-9244.
