South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —March 22, 2011 <br />bids must meet the offering price of <br />$2,687,500; (2) that the proposal may be for <br />commercial - retail, commercial - office or <br />mixed uses that are permitted within the <br />CBD zoning designation; (3) that proposals <br />must include a basic reuse plan for the site <br />and a project timeline. Strong emphasis will <br />be place on compatibility with the goals and <br />objectives of the South Bend Central <br />Development Area Development Plan. (4) <br />that all proposals must be compatible with <br />the design guidelines and development <br />standards outlined in the Design Guidelines <br />for the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED BID SPECIFICATIONS <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the AND DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS FOR DISPOSITION <br />Commission approved Bid Specifications OF THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME <br />and Design Considerations for disposition of <br />the College Football Hall of Fame <br />(3) Authorization to publish Notice of <br />Intended Disposition of Property with <br />publication dates of March 25 and April 1, <br />2011 and receipt of bids by 10:00 a.m. <br />April 12, 2011. (College Football Hall of <br />Fame) <br />Mr. Inks noted that if there are no bids <br />received that meet the specifications the <br />Commission is precluded from entering into <br />any agreements short of those specifications <br />for 30 days after April 12. After the 30 days <br />the Commission may enter into a negotiated <br />agreement for the property. <br />Mr. Varner asked whether this offering is for <br />the real estate portion of the property not the <br />personal property? Mr. Inks replied that, yes, <br />that is correct. <br />n <br />
