Resolution No. 2103 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM <br />NORTHERN INDIANA HISTORICAL SOCIETY, INC. <br />WHEREAS, Northern Indiana Historical Society, Inc. ("Historical Society ") is the owner of aparcel <br />of real property ("Real Property ") situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, more particularly described at <br />Exhibit "A"; and <br />WHEREAS, Historical Society desires to transfer the Real Property to the City of South Bend, for <br />the use and benefit of its Department of Redevelopment for use in the Studebaker N ational M useum <br />Relocation Project within the South Bend Central Development Area; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, acting by and through its <br />governing body, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission desires to accept transfer of the Real Property <br />from Historical Society; and <br />WHEREAS, Historical Society, acting by and through its Board of Directors, has heretofore <br />approved transfer of the Real Property to the City of South Bend, for the use and benefit of its Department <br />of Redevelopment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: <br />i1. The transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and described on <br />the attached Exhibit "A ", by Northern Indiana Historical Society, Inc. to the City of South Bend, for <br />the use and benefit of its Department of Redevelopment, shall be, and hereby is, accepted. <br />2. The Director of Redevelopment for the City of South Bend shall cause the recording of the <br />quitclaim deed conveying all of the right, title and interest of the Northern Indiana Historical <br />Society, Inc. in and to the Real Property to the City of South Bend, for the use and benefit of its <br />Department of Redevelopment. <br />3.
