0 Expansion Area No. 5 by the adoption of Resolution No. 2001 adopted on October <br />3, 2003; and <br />Expansion Area No. 6 by the adoption of Resolution No. 2014 adopted on December <br />19, 2003; and <br />Reduction Area No. 1 by the adoption of Resolution No. 1215 adopted on December <br />19, 2003; and <br />WHEREAS, South Bend Allocation Area No. I does not include Expansion Area No. 4 <br />as described and approved in Resolution No. 1737 adopted on February 18, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission now desires to further expand the boundaries of South Bend <br />Allocation Area No. 1 to include that area heretofore referenced as "expansion Area No. 7; and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Allocation Area No. lA as expanded to include Expansion <br />Area No. 7 as described above shall be hereinafter referenced as the "South Bend Allocation Area <br />No. 1 A "; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 17.5 of the Act provides for a public hearing to be held by the <br />Commission, at which public hearing all persons interested in the proceedings and who have filed <br />timely written remonstrances may be heard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has complied with the notice provisions of Section 17.5 ofthe <br />Act; and <br />WHEREAS, at the public meeting held by the Commission on the 5th day of November, <br />2004, at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, at 1308 County -City Building, South Bend, Indiana, <br />the Commission has reviewed the maps and plats and proposed amendments and heard all persons <br />interested in the proceedings and received and considered P written remonstrances and objections <br />and other such evidence presented. <br />THE COMMISSION HEREBY FINDS THAT: <br />(i). The proposed amendment to Resolution No. 737 to include Expansion Area No. 7 <br />is reasonable and appropriate when considered in relation to Resolution No. 737 and <br />the purposes of the Act. <br />(ii). The proposed amendment to the South Bend Central Development Area <br />Development Plan is reasonable and appropriate when considered in relation to the <br />Development Plan and the purposes of the Act. <br />(iii). Resolution No. 737, as amended herein, conforms to the comprehensive plan for the <br />
