i <br />said South right -of -way line to the place of beginning containing 580.05 acres more <br />or less. <br />(3). The previously prepared maps and plats showing the boundaries of the South <br />Bend Central Development Area, as expanded herein, showing the location of the various <br />parcels of property, streets, alleys and other features affecting the acquisition, clearance, <br />replatting, replanning, rezoning or redevelopment of the South Bend Central <br />Development Area and parts of the area, indicating any parcels of property to be excluded <br />from acquisition and indicating the parts of the South Bend Central Development Area to <br />be devoted to public ways, levees, sewerage, parks, playgrounds and other public <br />purposes under the Development Plan as modified herein are hereby approved. <br />(4). The proposed amendment to the Development Plan to replace pages 7 and 8 as <br />amended by Resolutions 2014 and 201 S, both adopted on December 19, 2003, with <br />pages 7, 7a, 7b and 8 as attached hereto as Attachment II to Exhibit "A" is hereby and in <br />all respects approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ALLOCATION <br />AREA FOR PURPOSES OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING THAT: <br />(5). The South Bend Central Allocation Area ( "South Bend Central Allocation Area <br />No. 1 A ") is hereby expanded to include Expansion Area No. 7 as described in the 32nd <br />WHEREAS clause above, so that the boundaries of the Allocation Area and the South <br />Bend Central Development Area as described in Paragraph (2), above, are coterminous <br />excepting therefrom Expansion Area No. 4 as described and approved in resolution No. <br />1737 and said Allocation Area is more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at the point of intersection of the South right -of -way line of Sample Street with <br />the West right- of-way line of Michigan Street; thence North along said West right -of -way <br />line of Michigan Street to its intersection with the Northerly line of the Conrail Railroad <br />(formerly Penn Central) right -of -way; thence Northwesterly along said Northerly railroad <br />right -of -way line to its intersection with the Southerly projection of the West right -of -way <br />line of Taylor Street; thence North along said West right -of -way line to its intersection <br />with the Westerly projection of the North right -of -way line of vacated Monroe Street; <br />thence East along the said projected right -of -way line to the intersection with the East <br />right -of -way line of Taylor Street said point also being the Southwest corner of Lot 16, <br />Block 7 of Vail's Southwest Addition to the City of South Bend; thence North along the <br />said East right -of -way line to the intersection with the center line of the first 14 -foot <br />vacated alley lying North of vacated Monroe Street; thence East along the said center line <br />to a point on the said center line that is 93.00 feet west of the East right -of -way line of <br />Williams Street; thence South parallel with the West right -of -way line of Williams Street, <br />114.00 feet; thence East 93.00 feet to a point on the East right -of -way line of Williams <br />12 <br />
