579 Board met in special meeting at 11:00 A.M. All members present. vIr. Hartman, Engineer for the Oliver Hdtel Company appeared before the Board and -;the matter of heetinr contract filed January 5th.,1915 by the above company` was discussed by the Board. IN THE MTATTET? That Vhereas, this Board did on the 15th. day of February 1915 Five notice �,o the School Commissioner of the School City of South Bend that on the 17th. day of10�'I�ruary 1915 at 10:00 A:M. of a hearing to be had at the office of this B-ard in the City Hall to determine whether the old Higr School Building located at the northeast corner of West Washington Avenue and William Street is dangerous and insecure, and should be condemned and taken down, and it appeared that said notice was served upons said members of said Board; which notice and tretu rn are as follows: — OFFICE OF BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,INDIANA. ,February 12,1915. To Arthur L. Hubbard, George A. Knoblock, William Clem. School Commissioners of the City of South Bend, Indiana. Gent leme n: - You are hereby notified that the Old High School Building located at the north-east corner of W. Washington Avenue and William Street in said City is deemed and considered by the undersigned Board to be dangerous and insecure, and that same should be condemned and taken down. And you are further notified that a hearing will be had by this Board at its office in the City Hall at South Bend, Indiana on February 17th. 1915 at 10:00 A.M. oclock A.M. and that you shall appear.at such hearing and snow cause, if any, i,.rhy said building should hot be condemned and. taken down. This notice is given you pursuant to Ordinance No. 1375 and other Ordinances of said City, and pursuant to Clause 24 Section 9655 of Burns Revised Statutes and other laws ofthe State of Indiana. E.
