519 <br />Board met in special session at-, -A A: M. All members present. <br />In the matter of the Mishawaka Avenue Trunk sewer assessment roll, the <br />Board modified the same as follovis The assessment of Henry S. Towle is reduced from <br />$930.70 to $63o.70 the assessment of George W. Jackson reduced from $930.70 to 30.70 <br />the assessment of J. C. & Byron A. Birdsell and Maude M. Coquillard, for life remainder <br />to Alexis & Joseph A. Coquillard_ere each reduced from $1,g61.5g to $1,561.59,making a <br />total reduction of $1,000.00, which is to be paid by the ,pity of South Bend, Ind. through <br />its Board of Public Works. <br />The deduction from that of George W. Jackson being made for the reason that <br />there is a hole on his property that will require considerable filling before it can be <br />utilized for City property. The deduction in the other three cases being for the reason <br />that it will be sometime before the extreme northern part of their land will be divided <br />into City lots. <br />The Board therefore finds that all property assessed in said roll filed <br />September 15th.,1914 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said modified <br />roll and the Board further finds that the final assessment allowed on the 15th. day of <br />September,1914 should be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and <br />approved. <br />The Board ordered that a notice be sent to Grand Trunk Western Ry. Company to <br />V plank their crossings at Walnut and Harris Streets. <br />President. <br />
