Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for curb and walk on Wilber Street from Longley Avenue to Michigan Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 316. In the City of South Be°id, Indiana. Re Aved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six consectutive days in the South Bend Daily News -Times, commencing on the 16th. da y of September 1914 and on the 23rd. clay of September,1914, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 6th. day of October,1914 at 7:45 P.M. Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and approved and the Final estimate thereon allowed. Notice os this resolution shall be published on the 16th. day of September,1914 in the South Bend Daily News -Times, stating that -[,his Board will -ive a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the, 1.6th.:day of October,1914 at 7:d5 P.M. By unanimous consent of the Board the contract for the eater taps on Cottage Grove Avenue were awarded to Wm. H. Burke. By unaim'us consent, of the Board the contract for the resurfacing of ✓ Marion Street from North line of St. Joseph St. to E. line of Lot 5 Hammond and Whitcomb Addition , was awarded to Hoban and Roach for the amou "t of ......... $12804.18 The bill for the property lists on William Street opening was ordered paid out )of the Miscellaneous Fund of the Board. Willis A. Bugbee and Harry G. Scrock the sum of $107.10 and Indiana Title.& Loan Company the sum of $120.90. The follmnving waiver was filed with the Board. State of Ind Tana. In the City of South Bend V/ In the matter of the Iroquois Street sewerm and the sewer along the alley north of North Shore Drive. Pending before the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, I At the final hearing on the assessments for the above mentioned im- provements, there appears before to Board the Navarre Place Corporation, by 11. A. Dolph, its President, Alonzo J. Hammond, its Secretary, and Will G. Crabill, its Treasurer, and also appears Solon D. Rider, -said corporato n and said Rider being the owners of lots abutting on Parkovash Street, end tner streets running east from Iroquois Street but not abutting thereon, and which will receive benefit from the construction of said sewer on Iroquois Street,'and do now request said Board and consent that said Board shall so modify it, the said assessment, as to relieve tree lots abutting thereon on the east side thereof from a portion of the assessments, made against them, and to lay such portions against other lots owned by them respectively along said other streets, as in the judgement of the Board such other lots may be benefited by the construction of said sewer.
