Under most <br /> circumstances the Staff would not encourage <br /> the expansion of industrial or commercial <br /> zoning into a residentially zoned district. <br /> However, this property is located within the <br /> Airport 2010 Development Project. The <br /> proposed rezoning is compatible with the <br /> guidelines set forth in the plan. Therefore, <br /> the extension of industrial zoning is <br /> appropriate in this particular case. However, <br /> this should not be construed to mean that <br /> industrial development is appropriate in <br /> residentially zoned areas. <br />
