For your information,the Board of Public Works received favorable recommendations from the Fire Department, Bureau of Sanitation, Division of Engineering, Department of Community and Economic Development,Area Plan Commission and the Police Department concerning this vacation,subject to any utility easements that may be required. The Division of Engineering and Area Plan concur that the two homes on the east and west sides of this alley use it to access their driveway. If either owner plans to utilize the vacated alley, a recorded easement will be required. Also, the north end of the proposed alley vacation shall be closed permanently and marked with reflectors or reflective tape.
