South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —March 8, 2011 <br />survey for a fee not to exceed $2,850. <br />(6) Proposal for professional services at <br />Ignition Park (Topographic Survey at <br />proposed Data Realty site) <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from <br />Danch Hamer & Associates for a <br />topographic survey at a cost not to exceed <br />$2,550. <br />(7) Ratification of contract with WebsEdge <br />for video highlighting South Bend's <br />brownfield efforts. <br />Mr. Price noted through Ann Kolata the City <br />of South Bend was invited to be one of seven <br />communities featured in separate five new <br />videos at next months National Brownfield <br />Conference. A number of staff spoke about <br />the issue and thought it would provide a good <br />opportunity to highlight the opportunities for <br />new development in Ignition Park. Claims <br />request for $19,500 to WebsEdge to fund the <br />production cost. That amount was originally <br />part of the overall picture looked at for the <br />Blue Waters contract so this is the same type <br />of activity we'd be responding to there. Plans <br />for the video interviewing four people; <br />Mayor Stephen J. Luecke , a representative <br />from Kite Realty, show them previous <br />development project Eddy Street Commons <br />and Tracy Grant. The video is going to be a <br />direct invitation to ask people to come to <br />South Bend and invest. Mr. Strickler referred <br />to this as well. There are a number of <br />developers at this conference.
